Protecting our Precious Planet

Grades 3–5

It’s easy to think as a kid, that because you’re small, you can’t make much of a difference. This interactive and exciting program is designed to show kids that they can be a powerful form of change, one small step at a time!

We will sing songs celebrating our precious Planet Earth. We will sing and reflect about some things that may be affecting the safety and beauty of our home, and what we can do help. A projector is used to show photos of some of these effects. Some examples of topics covered are recycling, liter clean–up and prevention, preserving water, and respecting nature.

As many of us know, children have very creative ideas, so this program also encourages kids to think outside the box about what they can do to take part in fostering a healthy environment.
