Bonnie's Story
Bonnie Lee Panda has the voice of an angel heard through songs that soar with spirit. A Cheshire, CT native, Connecticut Magazine recognizes Bonnie Lee as one of the new generation of singer-songwriters in Connecticut with a “big voice and telegenic looks.” Her music is a blend of folk and country with soul. When she begins to sing and play her acoustic guitar, “her voice resonates throughout the room until everything else just fades away” (Shannon Becker, Cheshire Herald).
For the past few years, Bonnie Lee has been touring clubs and coffee shops throughout the Northeast, including The Postcrypt in NYC, Nameless Coffeehouse in Cambridge, MA, and The Sounding Board in West Hartford, CT. For five years, she has been hosting the reputable Vanilla Bean Cafe’s open mic in Pomfret, CT, on the first Friday of every month. She has opened for artists such as Garnet Rogers, Tracy Grammer and Jim Henry. In addition to performing her music throughout the Northeast, Bonnie Lee teaches guitar, vocals and piano privately and puts on musical workshops for third to fifth graders covering topics on self-esteem, finding your truth, peer pressure and anti-bullying.
Bonnie Lee is currently working on her fourth CD of original music.
